A note from your "Chef de Montage"...

Here it is, an account of the 10th Pan American Puppetry Arts Institute written by our community of actors, dancers, stilters, writers, singers, musicians, ...friends of the Dragon Dance Theatre...that have in one way or other participated in this year's process

In this Cyber-publication, I feel there is a clear demonstration that Dragon Dance Theatre, is about social history and current issues, cultural exchange and communal work...its about communication and languages, about looking for the conflict and developing it...its about participating in the creative developement of a theatre production ...from beginning to end...its about participating in choosing materials and using the tools...its about building puppets and sewing costumes...its about research on the theme and finding which issues and personages relate to one or the other...its about expressing and using the voice and the body...its about discipline and arduous work...its also about acting and music...its about signing and movement...its about expressing ones ideas...its about the process Sam says...but the process there are a lot of parts to this process!!
